Completely transforming and reinvigorating Beaujolais as a fine wine region, these four passionate producers have ushered in one of the most exciting periods in the appellation’s long history. Precipitating a slew of beguiling and exceptionally high-quality wines over the past two decades, Foillard typifies the approach used by modern Beaujolais producers in relying on wild yeasts only and rejecting all forms of manipulative winemaking.
