When Antonio Galloni praises a producer for making "some of the classiest wines in all of Champagne" you know that they're doing something truly special.

Vilmart is a Champagne house that has long been held in the highest of esteem by lovers of the world's greatest sparkling wines, and under the guidance of Laurent Champs (great name for a Champagne maker!) they have continued to turn heads and claim their place among the greats.

Part of the ethos that has served Vilmart so well is their commitment to sustainable viticulture. Working in conjunction with nature rather than struggling against it gives their wines a certain grace and poise that few big-name brands can match. Champs uses no harsh chemicals and the estate has been pesticide free since 1989, meaning that the soil is exceptionally healthy.

All of this extra effort is clearly bearing fruit (literally!) and their prestigious, "postively stellar" 96-point Blanches Voies Blanc de Blancs 2009 is one of the greatest wines in its class.

We are pleased that out of only 2,400 bottles produced of this hotly-anticipated first release, we have managed to secure a small parcel and are able to offer in individual hand-crafted original wooden cases direct from the winery.

Cru is the first to offer and the only availability in the market for this soon-to-be icon and customers with an eye for investment will do well to snap up this first release as quickly as possible before the value skyrockets.
