The 2019 Chablis-Villages is well defined and pure on the nose, offering scents of dried honey, dandelion and a little quince jus, all pretty and growing in stature with aeration. As is often the case, this is aromatically quite similar to the Montée de Tonnerre with just a touch more wood in evidence. Here too the slightly richer flavors possess an equally gorgeous texture with a bit more mid-palate stuffing to the intense, powerful and bone-dry finale that exhibits simply huge length. This beauty is even firmer, and I wouldn't even think about opening a bottle for at least 10 years, research purposes aside!د.إ30,405.00 -

A restrained nose immediately makes clear that it could be from nowhere else but Chablis with its array of mineral reduction, oyster shell, iodine, spice, floral and citrus aromas. There is once again excellent volume and intensity to the even more concentrated big-bodied flavors that deliver huge length on the bone-dry, austere and compact finish. This is presently a block of stone that is going to need at least some patience and a wine that should repay 15+ years of cellaring. Moreover, it is not only a candidate for wine of the vintage honors but could legitimately vie for being one of the all-time great examples of Raveneau Clos. This is a complete Fourchaume from Jean-François Bordet which balances the richness, concentration and intensity of Fourchaume with fresh acid, a lovely mineral undertow and complexity of flavour. Disarmingly drinkable already, this has the potential to age and become a memorable Fourchaume in three to four years.د.إ1,670.00 -

William Fevre own 46ha of AP Chablis but there was lots of frost damage in 2021 - the yield was just 18hl/ha! Lovely floral notes here, very precise and focussed. This is already appealing although the acidity is certainly evident. Lingering spice notes on the finish. From a tank sample, with bottling due in November. (from a .55 ha parcel). Slightly honied aromas of exotic white and yellow peach are laced with moderate amounts of classic Chablis character. Interestingly, the medium-bodied flavors are not quite as dense as those of the Les Lys though they are still notably powerful while offering just a bit more depth on the sneaky long, sappy and serious finale. Planted by William's father, these vines are now 55 years old. All the parcels here are on steep slopes. The scintillating nose starts with salted lemons and perky grapefruit peels. Usually a more powerful Chablis, in 2017 the Côte Bouguerots is airy, weighty and beautifully lifted, with pretty floral and saline notes that confer a great deal of freshness. The 2017 opens up beautifully with time in the glass, showing tons of volume and resonance, all retaining its bright, sculpted personality.د.إ2,085.00 -

A cool and highly restrained nose reluctantly offers up its array of citrus, tidal pool, quinine and oyster shell. The exceptionally rich, even opulent, medium-weight plus flavors also brim with sappy dry extract on the mineral-driven, powerful and remarkably long finish. William's father planted these vines in 1947, 1948, 1950 and 1952. All are in the upper part of Les Clos. Their positioning simultaneously offers freshness and power. Yellow cherries, yellow tomatoes and summer herbs deliver a bold palate. It's a tsunami of flavor, and the structure is equally dominating. The 2021 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru comes from 2.5-hectares split over two parcels. This has one of my favourite aromatics from Fèvre this year with superb delineation and mineralité. The palate is harmonious and poised, very focused and tensile, plenty of energy with a touch of lime and clementine towards the persistent finish. This is an outstanding Chablis that should age supremely well in bottle.د.إ3,520.00 -
